Thread: extortion, on a national scale

That's what this bailout is - it's EXTORTION, on a national scale.

Think about it - they're telling us that if we don't bail 'em out, our entire ECONOMY is going to collapse!

THAT, is extortion. THAT, is every bit as bad as nuclear terrorism.

It occurs to me, that this is a big, BIG problem for the People of the United States.

WE, are being EXTORTED!!! And our President, is going along with it!!!

What's up with that?

What do you think about the "Republican alternative plan" that's being floated? They want to insure, instead of bailing out. They'll insure any private party who's willing to buy up the bad paper. What do you think?

I think anything would be better than issuing a trillion dollars of dept.

I'm sure there are other ways of handling this, all they seem to know
how to do is throw money at things.
