"But Israel says the Islamic Republic could have enough nuclear material to make its first bomb within a year. "
Too bad Israel is the only country to actually think this.
So, the whole article blows past any evidence that Iran is actually planning on creating a bomb. Because they are enriching more uranium, they are automatically creating a nuke? Idiotic.
Yeah, Fox floats this idiotic story about once a week.
And, Israel is really good at making OTHER people worry.
I say, if Israel has a problem with Iran, let ISRAEL take care of it.
I see no reason why the United States should get involved.
Simple and not so simple. But it can be done. We get off of oil. Truly off where we use our own oil as a small percentage to what energy is produced by EVERYTHING else that will do the job. We are Americans we can do this and it will put a lot of people to work if we fast track the whole process of getting wind, gas, corn, solar , bio, on the grid.
Then our leaders get on national TV (which is monitored by a$$ wipes all over the globe), and we tell the world we have secretly completed a nuclear project on one of our satellites, with missiles trained on all our enemies. (We may have actually done this-but in the case of world emergencies lying is O.K. too). Then we tell Iran to go for it and build whatever they want to build how ever high.
If you can't dazzle 'em with brilliance;
baffle 'em with bull$hit, I always say. :whistling:
OR! And this is an even better idea. Someone sends Iran's leader a translated copy of Dr. Suess' Bitter Butter Battle book.![]()
If there is a tactical strike on Iran my opinion is it has to be from Israel.
(1) Western nations are not functionally threatened by Iran's prospective
limited nuclear capacity.
(2) Israel is clearly dominant in Middle Eastern intelligence and logistics
planning- they also have all the real assets necessary for action.
(3) American claims to national interest cant be realistically extended
beyond Iraq and Afghanistan. If the US were to attack Iran it would be
a clear expansion of preemptive aggression in the Middle East.
