WSJ disses John "our economy is sound" McCain

So, let's see. He's a hothead vet who supports Bush's Iraq policy, supports continued oil dependence and now demonstrates a bravado-based grasp of the US economy...

Wall Street Journal blasts John McCain

John McCain said 'Raising taxes in a tough economy isn't patriotic.'

    FROM CNN’s Jack Cafferty:
When you graduate 894th out of a class of 899, eventually it will show up.
And John McCain’s mediocre performance at the Naval Academy is showing up big time this week in his total lack of understanding of the nation’s financial crisis.

He told us he didn’t know much about the economy… now he’s proving it.
So much so that the Wall Street Journal, perhaps America’s leading financial publication, is blasting McCain over what its editorial board sees as inaccurate and, quote, “unpresidential” comments about the crisis in America’s financial system.

Davo, now you know he is going to save us--- I mean them. The thing that keeps getting me is they say, the polishitems, that we can not afford national health care, social security is insolvent, and we need to continue war to no end but we can bailout the finacial markets, no problem. Tell me who the hell is going to bailout the poor bastards that are not only losing their jobs but, health insurance, retirement and their homes? Who in gods name is going to stand up for the PEOPLE?

Sounds like the same old Neo-Con drivel, doesn't it?

Always trying to shove THEIR idea of patriotism down my throat.

Always trying to convince me I don't measure up to THEIR standards.

Harumph. Fortunately, I am not in this world to live up to Neo-Con standards.

I am here to take them DOWN, and make their lives as MISERABLE AS POSSIBLE!!!

Like Barry Goldwater said when he was running for President, and someone asked him how he intended to make the government more effficient - this is what he said:

"Efficient? I'm not going to Washington to make government more efficient. I'm going there to ELIMINATE IT"!!!

Barry was a good cat, you always knew where you stood with him.

Anonnymous, now you know we will have all of the money we need only if John McCain saves us-- -I mean them.

His plan to continue George Bush's tax structure will create dramatic change, job creation, and an endless source of revenue! Enough even to continue both existing wars and start new ones with Russia, Iran, and North Korea!...and financialy bail out whomever they think will benefit thier election, or thier image if they win the election.

You don't sound very patriotic to me Anonnymous with all that confusing detail oriented question asking stuff. If I can't answer your question with a five word slogan, or lipstick oriented comment, it's a vicious over the top sexist/racist attack question!

Reminds me of the little old lady that went to a pet store looking for a parrot that could speak. The pet store owner had many parrots which could speak all sorts a things but he had one off to the side that had not said anything the whole time she was there. So, she asked the pet store owner if that particular parrot could talk and he said he was not sure for he had only had the parrot for a week and although he had tried numerous times to get the parrot to speak he could not. So, the little old lady went over and asked the parrot "Polly want a cracker?" The parrot just stared back perched upon his old fungus encrusted tree limb. So, the little old lady asked once again "Polly want a cracker" and this time the parrot spoke back saying " my name is not Polly and I do not want a cracker. I want a blow job"

If you’re a Republican running for president of the United States and the Wall Street Journal basically says you’re an incompetent buffoon, you’re in serious trouble.

So tell me righties. Why are you still supporting this clown?
The idiot shows his exreme lack of leadership everytime he opens his mouth, yet out of partisanship, you'll still follow him off a cliff?

I think John McCain is done.

The Palin show is over, and the convention bump is past.

And by the way, who listens to neocons anymore? Aren't they despised around the world at this point?

The Republicans need to implode to give the Democrats a chance to fix everything or implode themselves. The sooner the better.

Neither candidate can "save us", they are both economic novices.
Anything they say comes down to what their advisor's are throwing at
    them.

His plan to continue George Bush's tax structure will create dramatic change, job creation, and an endless source of revenue! No tax policy is going touch the massive unfunded liabilities the US is
taking on in this crisis, not even considering our existing debt or "off
budget" black holes like Social Security.

They are basically arguing whether to raise the price of burgers or fries
when the entire chain of restaurants has gone bankrupt.

You don't sound very patriotic to me Anonnymous with all that confusing detail oriented question asking stuff. If I can't answer your question with a five word slogan, or lipstick oriented comment, it's a vicious over the top sexist/racist attack question!
Thats all very cute, but the most disturbing thing is this country is in
the throws of a monumental crisis and neither candidate can even
grow the balls to speak in those terms, and that IS business as usual.
They just pretend it's not happening and talk about all the same old
shit people are trained to key in on. Thats how we got an out of control
Social Security program, how we got massive debt and poorly regulated
    lending practices.
