Palin Falls Short of VP Standards

    By John Dean —
Does anyone believe that if John McCain were president and had selected Gov. Sarah Palin under the 25th Amendment to fill a vacancy in the vice presidency Congress would have confirmed her? Not likely. In fact, it is even less likely that McCain would have even attempted to do so, for he would have embarrassed himself.

Nixon for 1,000 days and is the author of nine books, including “Conservatives Without Conscience,” “Worse Than Watergate: The Secret Presidency of George W. Bush” and “Pure Goldwater,” which Dean co-wrote with Barry M. Goldwater Jr.

Ok McSame Knob-bobbers, humor me whilst spinning these truths.
Funny how America is crumbling down around you and you'll still defend the hands that slap you. Have at it.

I think Palin is more qualified than Obama and I think she'd do a better job than McCain or Biden. But please, keep attacking Palin's experience. The more people attack Palin, the further Obama slips in the polls. You sure you aren't working for the McCain camp Inki?

    Depends.

Would that Congress be full of real Americans, or be dominated by Democrats instead?

She was a mayor and a governor. That's executive experience. She's shown leadership. She's had success. She's broken with her party. She's taken down members of her own party. That's experience. Obama has none. Other than running for President and being a Community Organizer like Jesus Christ and serving as a pawn for the Chicago Machine Politburo, what experience does he have? Obama might inspire the MTV generation, but he does nothing for intelligent, hard working Americans that don't want to be dependents of the Imperial Federal Government.

You're right. He's not stupid. Therefore his statement that Palin is more qualified to be President than Obama is perfectly valid.

How many meeses has Obama skinned? (That's the plural of "moose" isn't it?)

More importantly, how many municipal and state budgets has he had oversight of? None.

Off the two, who took the opportunity to visit wounded troops in Landstuhl Germany, and who decided that if HE couldn't make circus out of it he wasn't going to go? (The HE should be a hint, I know how dumb socialists are).

How much legislation has 0-bama authored to create the Trans-Alaskan/Canada Pipeline? None. Gee. Governor Palin spearheaded that effort in Alaska.

Fact of the matter is our biggest international relations will never be in Europe, and will be where they've been since 1842, with Mexico and Canada. O-Bama wants to surrender to Mexico, and probably never heard of Canada. He's certainly authored no legislation about it, because he's authored no legislation at all. He's been too busy campaigning to actually do the job one presumes the people of Illinois sent him to Washington to do, represent them. So you can't really claim he's got much experience as a Senator, anyway.

But go ahead, keep posting threads that allow us to compare 0-bama's lack of experience with practically anything. I bet a llama would be a better president than 0-bama. They've got more experience for the job than he does, that's certain.

But, I bet she scores higher than Biden.

I see something ENTIRELY different in this equation.

When I look at Obama, I see a guy who started from SCRATCH. He's a half-breed son of a single mother and an absentee father, whose family had to scrape by on a combination of her hard work and Barry's smarts.

The guy came up the HARD way, all on his own. He started with NOTHING, and became a US Senator.

Palin - she's a different story. She's a hockey mom who got pressed into running for office 'cause no one else wanted the job.

So... hm.... different strokes for different folks, I guess.

I'd like to see someone who's in touch with the WORKING people in this country. We, the working class, constitute the VAST majority of Americans, regardless of political affliliation or ideology.

Someone whose feet never touch the ground, can't POSSIBLY be aware of the issues that working people are having.

OH well..... Bush says "this is just a correction", so I guess I'll just have to take him at his word (NOT)....

So, you think Palin was born with a silver spoon in her mouth? You think that she was handed what she has on a silver platter? You think that she has not had to work to buck the system in her state to get rid of corruption in her state? What you are saying is soaked with kool-aid and needs to be re-thought!
