    Joe Biden on the issues

So, much talk about Palin, but very little about Biden.

Let's talk about Biden for a minute.

Here's Biden: Joe Biden on the Issues

He seems to be centrist (and practical) on "most" things.

He wants to spend money on education but not on abortion.

He has a "mixed" voting record on business, seems he's willing to tolerate it as long as it helps the country.

Stood his ground on energy policy and drilling.

Definitely against any form of alcohol or substance abuse.

Here's an interesting juxtaposition though, can anyone figure this one out?

Voted YES on Strengthening of the trade embargo against Cuba. (Mar 1996)
Voted YES on ending Vietnam embargo. (Jan 1994)
Seems to be pro-trade (in the globalist sense?) 100% pro-public-health voting record. Hmm....

Probably voted "most" of the same way I would have, on the national security issues, except, there's this interesting little tidbit:

Don't Ask Don't Tell is antiquated & unworkable. (Aug 2007)
Biden has an open-border and pro-jobs stance, and, seems to align with most of the conservative social values EXCEPT for abortion.

So, my take is, he's about as centrist as they come.

    What's yours?

He's better than Sarah Palin. And he isnt likely to become the next President.

Biden was the worst possible VP choice imaginable. He is an authoritarian self-righteous blowhard wrong on just about every issue.

I think they are perfect for each other. Both claim to be Christians and both are Not for Christian core values. Biden will sway with the wind. They will get along just fine. I only like Biden on a few issues if he means it. Obama is one of the most leftist guy including Kerry to ever run.

He has the third most liberal voting record.

He has a "mixed" voting record on business, seems he's willing to tolerate it as long as it helps the country.
Yeah that's a moderate view, he "tolerates" business. It should be his job to see that business in this country has everything it needs to be successful and everything they do in congress is done to insure a strong economy and successful business activities.

His problem is he is an arrogant jerk and would make a lousy leader because of it.

My take on it is that he votes the party line. In other words he is leftist commie loser, just like all the rest of the democrates.

So from the tone of negativity regarding almost everyone you post about, can I assume that when it comes to politicians that Ron Paul ranks number one on your list, Chuck Baldwin number two, and every single other person in America ties for third and would be the worst possible choice to support for any position?
