Is Palin looking for World War 3?

FORT WAINWRIGHT, Alaska - Alaska Gov. Sarah Palin left open the option Thursday of waging war with Russia if it were to invade neighboring Georgia and the former Soviet republic were a NATO ally.

We will not repeat a Cold War," Palin said in her first television interview since becoming Republican John McCain's vice presidential running mate two weeks ago.

Palin told Charles Gibson of ABC News that she'd favor including Georgia and Ukraine, both former Soviet republics, in NATO despite opposition by Russian Prime Minister Vladimir Putin. Asked whether the United States would have to go to war with Russia if it invaded Georgia, and the country was part of NATO, Palin said: "Perhaps so.".............more

    War with Russia? Perhaps so?

"We will not repeat a cold war"

That is some pretty scary stuff. Admitting Georgia into NATO could in itself be taken as a declaration of war by an already onery Russian gov't.

I would say she is naive, but maybe she is just parroting McCain's position. Enjoy life now.

    Is Palin looking for WWIII?

Couldn't be. According to half the retards that support 0-Bama, Bush already started it. I'm sure a smart girl like Sarah Palin could have found it if she was looking for it.

Yeah, that's why Wilson was so eager to drag us into WWI, FDR made sure we joined the WWII party, Truman said it was vital we helped S. Korea, and LBJ lied his ass off about the Tonkin Gulf Incident to make sure we committed to Vietnam.

What have the Republicans done, again? Oh, yeah, the Democrats voted to allow the US to attack Iraq.

Sad, didn't take long for Palin to become a carbon copy of McStain.

It was worded to give the president the authority to initiate the use of force is necessary.

Welcome to the real world, where your heroes are scum.

    Bet you didn't know that.

She's a dumbass. We had a Cold War so we wouldn't have an exceedingly hot war. She's only 44, so maybe she missed all the "duck and cover" public service announcements.

Thats it? She makes a statement that could easily be construed as threatening a first strike nuclear option and partisan rhetoric is your response. Simply amazing!

I agree. McCain has probably spent the last few days drilling his foreign policy objectives into her head. With McCains #1 foreign policy achievement being the lifting of embezzler/liar Chalaibi from relative obscurity to the chic Iraqi gov't in exile, I find these statements to be alarming.

Is a pipeline worth starting WW III?
