If we are not in a recession then why do we need all this emergency budget relief and expansion of the money supply?

Take a look at the laws these guys has passed just this year alone in regards to budget, defense, and homeland security. Then tell me we are not headed down the road to disaster economically and militarily.

All this while the balanced budget resolution sets in committee. Who needs a balanced budget when the whole house of cards are starting to fall?
