    Neo Libs

We have the emergence of a new kind of liberal in this election.

    The Neo Lib

The Neo Lib believes that women should stay at home and raise the kids and not get involved in Men's business.

The Neo Lib believes that when a Husband and Wife have children, that it is a woman's job to stay home and not the man's job.

The Neo Lib believes that a special needs child would most definitely require a Mother to stay home not take on a major job outside of the household.

We had Romney critisized for his religion.

We have Governor Palin critisized for not staying at home with her children.

    We have ageism against McCain.

We have Obama bringing up race all of the time.

And they laughably call themselves the "progressive" party.

    Funny stuff.

Whine, whine, whine. Go back to sleep.

Don't talk to me about double standards, friend.

The 'Cons are the WORST offenders in that regard.

Talkin' democracy out of one side of their mouths, and then trampling it on the other.

I don't give a rat's ass about your social standards.

I want someone who can RUN THIS COUNTRY, without PISSING AWAY MY MONEY.

    Got anyone like that?

Let me be the first to say...JOM, No. Don't mistake the press trying to exploit any hypocracy they might find regarding Palin's traditional values and her actual practice of traditional values for some kind of theoretical emergence of a mutant strain of Liberals that are now sexist.

Why don't you take a look are where the biggest chunk is being pissed away? Hint: It's not in Iraq.

Sure is not Obama. He has a laundry list of social programs that could choke a dinosaur.

Now I am not a big fan of much of McCains ideas on immigration, but he has been an advocate of controlling spending. Palin has a record of reducing taxes. So I would tell you vote Republican.

Here it is: Federal Budget Spending and the National Debt

NOTE: that 150 billion a year, could fund the ENTIRE GOVERNMENT, except for Defense and HHS.

ALL of it - every last federal worker down to the pension plan.

So, remind me again - what is it we're getting out of Iraq?

Not quite, but point well-taken. You forgot to add "except SS." SS has a very substantial component of welfare to it. It is not a pure contributions-based retirement plan. There is substantial re-distribution to the poor and the lazy, especially through SSDI (Disability).

I do wish we had the war money back, or at least the massive profits paid to private contractors. It is absurd not to run a classical defense model and instead to pay high bucks to mercenaries under corporate hire.

Given the accomplishment that has been made in Iraq, regardless of who is elected, I expect to see the costs drop dramatically.

What I said was "Don't mistake the press trying to exploit any hypocracy they might find regarding Palin's traditional values"

Might in this case meaning "if" they find any hypocracy. And to further clarify...I have no such personal knowlege of any hypocracy myself. Don't much care either, that goes for Bristol and Hubby's 20 year old DUI. Troopergate is a professional matter, I want to see that play out.

It sounds to me like the Liberal press playing with thier new toy. Everybody already knows all they need to know about Biden, McCain, and Obama's pasts. And the Conservative press is too busy campaigning for Palin to say anything bad. But I do find it odd how defensive the McCain campaign is towards the press climbing up her butt. Biden, McCain, and Obama have grafitti on the insides of thier butts, maybe even a few lost reporters still wandering around up in there.
