Sudden death after arrest may be new syndrome

A just a new syndrome folks, 33 year olds are getting heat attacks all over the place, why not here in jail??


This is bull shit, hell we have millions in private prisons, they aren't dead, yet. When they are they can use this excuse. Like when one gets killed with a taser....um we didn't electrocute him his heart stopped is all, probably from drugs....problem is, rarely are drugs found in the system if the victim.

This makes two new syndromes this year, thermal expansion, capable of dropping a building in on itself in 6.5 seconds, and this. Fucking stupid motherfuckers will believe it to!

Your article alludes to a reasonable cause of death which is unique to the individual's physiology and it has nothing to do with the police.

WTC 7, no jet fuel, thermal expansion caused an outer beam to separate from two columns thusly destroying 81 columns and dropped the building in 6.5 seconds. Cool stuff and it should save future demo teams a lot of money and time.

First, I posted in a respectful and intelligent manner without any hint of an insult. I find it repugnant that you can't manage to do the same. Your insults directed at me and your typically foul language do absolutely nothing to help your already troubled credibility. Plausible cause of death or police brutality, either way it saves 40k per year per person in prison costs.

Look Bourne people get arrested every day in this country, they do not die, if they did the jails and prisons would be empty. This is an excuse to shift the cause of deaths in the future from the cops. It is a lie, and I ain't falling for it. I am sorry I called you an asshole, but i figured if I got a warning that I would make it worth the mods time.

I am correct in thinking these deaths did not occur in the U.S., no? And this isn't anything new. It just appears that they may have found the cause.

You know, there are people who have sudden death during sports activities. There are young people with no past medical history who die suddenly also. Did you also know that more people die from sudden cardiac arrest in a year than breast cancer, lung cancer and AIDS combined?

The level of stress that these people may have been experiencing prior to the arrest would also play a part. I am not saying that the cops are innocent in every case, but I don't believe this is some sort of conditioning for the people.

A high stress level causes stress on the heart. The agitated state, and possibly erratic body movements...especially if you are resisting arrest...can also add to it. When you get overexcited, and then calm down later, the heart can suddenly stop. Research into sudden deaths has been going on for quite some time now. This is not anything new.

Okay, so I was thinking about this, and I have a question for you michael. Let us assume that there is a goal that is to met, that "they", whomever we believe them to be, have an agenda. How do you know that the distrust of the police is not that goal?

Think about that for a minute. Which is worse? Complying with the police when you run into an encounter...or having a confrontation because you do not trust them? When you do not comply with the police, or you resist arrest, or argue, or are confrontational, it only adds to the discourse, and ultimately makes things worse. In fact, it gives them all the more reason to use force.

I work with the police quite often, and have witnessed first hand how the media distorts the story, and leaves out key facts. This is nothing new with them (the media).

So again, I ask, how do you know that the purpose is to make you not trust the police? The answer is we don't. For me, I am going to go by what I see and experience. You may choose to believe otherwise, and maybe you have had bad encounters. But the fact that the MSM reports these types of stories should be telling in itself.
