It doesn't. It helps the People though. If you're asking a question like that, it means you're out of touch, and you don't understand the reality on the ground. "The economy" is a very abstract thing, that most people don't understand. What most people understand is, that if they don't have a job, it doesn't matter HOW many taxes the government wants.

All the more reason not to elect Obama. He wants more government programs that we can't afford. We need to cut spending.

Yes, I agree. We need to cut spending. And the place to START, is that 3 billion a WEEK we're spending in Iraq.

That money, could fund the ENTIRE government, except for defense and entitlements.

And that way, when they're lookin' for something to cut, there'll actually be something THERE, instead of bare bones.

There's NOTHING TO CUT right now, pal. Hospitals are closing right now, 'cause the federal cash stream has DRIED UP. And why is that? It's 'cause you boy Bush is using all the cash to prolong his ridiculous "state of war".

There are many other things that should be cut before the Iraq war funding (I think we have won in Iraq and should start to leave now). Also, the idea of universal healthcare (something Obama is strongly pushing) should not even be talked about now.

No. Iraq is the FIRST thing that should be cut. The very FIRST thing. Here's why:

a) we're not gettin' anything out of it
b) the Iraqi's have money and we don't, they're perfectly capable of paying for their own security
c) they want us out anyway
d) that is TOO MUCH MONEY. Period. I'm talking GOVERNMENT WASTE AND FRAUD. Same kinda crap that happened with those trailers in Katrina.

I could bring this WHOLE ENTIRE WAR to an immediate end if someone would bring me Osama Bin Laden's head on a platter, so I could put it on display in the public square.

So, like, why can't these INCOMPETENT Neo-Morons get that DONE???

yeah I am and have been for the last 8 years with the cuts I received and want to continue. If taxes are raised there will be a free ride.
