Horseshit. See, that's the problem with your kind - you think you DEFINE "We the People". You don't. You're NOT "We the People". You're only a teeny tiny portion thereof, and MOST others, are NOT LIKE YOU.

This is not about my ego, friend. This is about people like you, voting your pocketbook. That's why we end up with idiots like George Bush in office - it's precisely because people like you "vote your pocketbook", instead of voting in the best interests of the Common Welfare of the People of the United States.

That would be awfully damn arrogant of you, to assume that your interests are theirs.

Walmart hires 600 billion poor people at $8/hr... and the process just keeps going and going.
I am not condoning your post, but I would like you to answer one thing, do you think it might be an act of desperation, or do you think the desperation might be caused by the act?

Here - let me amplify that last post.

There are plenty of people, who voted for George Bush for no other reason, than they got bribed with a 600 dollar tax refund.

    Think about it.

huh? I just said that cutting spending is the best, but if there is a defecit and people don't want to cut spending... you need to raise taxes to ballance the budget which will keep inflation and interest rates down.

The problem is that over time spending has outpaced the tax increases. Not that spending somehow reduces defecits.

Raising taxes hurts everyone and everything. Hurts economy, more people out of work, less govt revenue, more welfare (guaranteed dem votes tho so...up go taxes) and on and on.

A nice 25% personal and corporate tax rate would be perfect. Everyone in the world would bring their best ideas/products/advances to the US in order to develop them here. Economy would grow, Govt rev would explode (like under the Reagan tax cuts)

    You are probably right.

    Solution?

We will just have to tell them to sit out this next election. And while we are at it we can tell all those who are voting for Obama because he is black, McCain because he has a female VP, and those who voted for Hillary based on gender, to just stay home.

    Sound like a plan?

Maybe we can also issue tests to people to see how much they actually know and understand the policies, and the workings of Washington. If they fail the test, they have to stay home.

That last part, is actually a very good idea.

But yeah, I get your point.

See, this is the wierd part about it - if someone wants to become a naturalized citizen, they have to take a test, that proves they know all ABOUT the Constitution.

Someone who's born here, doesn't have to know SQUAT, and even if they do, they don't have to agree with it.

The problem, while you document some of it, runs so much deeper that that. I am trying to come up with books for you, learn Austrian Financial System, there are so much literature that it is hard to keep track of. Here is a good article...Is the Perfect Storm Forming for Ron Paul?

It does not matter if no one is like me the spirit and purpose of the constitution and this country is that I as an individual and what makes up this country. Brace yourself because "we" the people are about to give you McCain. You are wrong because there are many like me, thus "we" . As a citizen I can vote pocketbook, pocket watch, pocket rocket, corner pocket, hot pocket,or whatever pocket I choose because that is exercising my right granted by the constitution and as one who exercises that right I am truly an example of what it exists for, Me! and it's purpose is to protect me from those who would try to limit my choice in the matter because I am not of the same mind as them which makes them an enemy of the constitution and one who wishes to pervert rights instead of provide and protect.

True. One of the great freedoms in this country, is the freedom to be ignorant. And no one can take it away from you!

Not sure where that word "pervert" came from though - what I see, is a "taking away", not necessarily a "perversion".

But yeah, I mean, you can believe what you want to believe. I do think though, that when you're exercising those beliefs at the voting booth, you're affecting ME - and my kids - which makes it my business. And, my only solution to that, is a little dialog, just like we're havin' now.
