Yeah i think his military service is a little overblown. He has not done or experienced anything most of us have. I am tired of all the POW whining about be prisoners , get over it already. Yeah you did your job now shut up because we have more important things to think about besides one man's service to our Country.
Yeah all that POW rhetoric is just disgusting.
The problem is that Hillary had less credibiliy than Obama, Because she was so shrill no one listened. Obama has less credibility than McCain because he is an empty leftist, clueless, pointless, and panders to the gullible, which sadly is a large portion of the country.
Bingo! OK, I wouldn't call that blindness, but I do agree that the outcome of the election will be decided by what happens over the course of the next two months. Voters who are set in their ways in terms of being on the left or right have already made up their mind, nothing either candidate is going to say from here on out is going to make them change their mind. As long as both candidates can motivate their bases to actually come out and vote, they'll be arguably even. The battle will be, as always, over the voters in the middle.
Exactly. And the central question there, is going to be, whether McCain can convince those voters that he really IS an agent of change.
Right now, the odds are stacked HEAVILY against him. All the actual evidence, points against him. He's got his whole campaign staffed with insiders and status-quo people. His voting record shows 95% with Bush. His CLAIM to being an agent of change, needs SUPPORT. He's going to need to do SOMETHING, to demonstrate his sincerity and his bona-fides in terms of being "not Bush".
Stay tuned, folks....opcorn:
I would agree with the thrust of your argument other than to point out one glaring problem:
When you say this: :"His voting record shows 95% with Bush. His CLAIM to being an agent of change, needs SUPPORT. He's going to need to do SOMETHING, to demonstrate his sincerity and his bona-fides in terms of being "not Bush". (my emphasis)
I would change that to "He's going to need to Be Something else......"
Which he isn't! He is all that you say he is, & no words or even election inspired actions at this point can change that!
(a giraffe cannot become an elephant by just wishing it was)
i think its funny that all the time the republicans kept beating the drum of "yea but what does obama mean by 'change'" and now all of sudden, THEY'RE they real agents of change. apparently it was a dumb slogan until they decided to steal it.
