He was offered another position... reassigned, he turned it down... she fired him. He didn't resign... but what she did was completely appropriate. She didn't feel he was doing his job correctly in the department of public safety... she offered him another position... he refused... only other recourse was to let him go. I have no problem with that.
The Trooper was not fired... he is still a state trooper in Alaska. Confirm your information.
If this is the best you "independents" can come up with then I have no worries. And I think "real" America will see it the same way.
