books would you ban?

Conservative, you might want to get in on this one. But think about it. If you were a self-righteous, fundamentalist suddenly handed the greatest political power in the world, what would you set out to stifle?

Maybe we can finally dump A Catcher in the Rye, Heather has Two Mommies, Hop on Pop...

Muslims are so damn crazy..

One Flew Over the Cuckoo's Nest by Ken Kesey would go first because of the protrayal of Nurse Ratchet. She has absolute authority over a psycho ward full of men and proves to be manipulative, vendictive, and generally despotic. A book about white men under the lash of a control freak female would be...counterproductive.

In the political section she would ban any books not written by Gerome Corsi, Bill O'Reilly, or Shawn Hannity...or other "approved" Conservative writers.

"Origin of Species" would be burned and outlawed, and books on Genetics, Archaeology, and Anthropology would be banned.

That would be all for Sarah's first week. She wouldn't ban as many as she would like to, so as to avoid the process appearing to be similar to another regime's efforts to ban books.
