    Major Players For McCain Campaign

The Republican darling Rush Limbaugh's "Operation Chaos" did not go as planned at the Democratic convention. Rush Limbaugh has enormous influence on not only his fans, self professed "ditto-heads", but the right wing base itself. Now that the Dem Convention is over, now what?

Steve Schmidt, a Karl Rove protege', is the top campaign official of the McCain campaign. He was also chief White House strategist for the nomination of Samuel Alito. On July 2nd, Schmidt was given "full operational control" of the McCain campaign. How will Schmidt's influence on the McCain campaign pan out in the next three months?

Charlie Black, a top staffer in the McCain campaign, worked for both Bushes and Lindsey Graham.

Randy Scheunemann is McCain's top advisor for international and security issues. Scheunemann was a board member for the Project For a New American Century (PNAC). He was an advisor to Defense Secretary Donald Rumsfeld on Iraq. He is president of the Committee for the Liberation of Iraq.

Well, thanks for that, I guess....

Boy, you sure know how to make a guy's day...

So, let's see, we got PNAC, we got Karl Rove, and we got Don Rumsfeld.

    Doesn't sound good.

    Nope, not good at all.

A McCain presidency would be a third term for Bush. Serious ties in McCain's campaign with the Bush administration and PNAC.

On the surface, one may think it's one-dimensional to tie McCain to Bush, but his selections for major figures in his campaign point directly to Bush policy.

I just had to put Limbaugh in there because he is a major player too, because he holds alot of sway for the neoconservative vote.

Steve Schmidt was never anyone who was brilliant on his own. Every single political memory engram in his head came from Karl Rove. While I realize Karl doesn't officialy work for the campaign, he is officialy overseeing O'Reilly and Hannity. Schmidt has Rove on his speed dial and they work together as a cohesive coordinated electioneering campaign. And the lame duck administration says "how high" when Karl says jump.

That makes Karl Rove the most powerful unelected Republican alive, and this vile architect of escalted smear, rhetoric, and near mind control in election campaigns will be so during the McCain administration if you vote McCain/Palin. Oh! here comes Karl now!

That's an august body, if there ever was one. Kind of like having Dean Martin as your AA sponsor.

Hey! What happened to Operation Chaos? Was that the part when the Fox reporter got the finger from a small mob of protesters?

It's perfect for Fox News to use Karl Rove as a commentator. They will all stare at him adoringly, basking in his all knowing truth.

Rove wasn't even brilliant. He just exploited things that were "off bounds" before.

    Good comparison.

Scheunemann, the same advisor to Rumsfeld on Iraq is McCain's advisor on international issues.

And the Obama campaign is going to have a hard time constantly associating McCain with Bush? I think not.
