It's not ego. It's how one approaches ones ego. There is pride, which I think is a good thing. Bill Clinton, Bill Gates, Rush Limbaugh have pride. And then there is self-righteousness, which is a bad thing. Ann Coulter, Barack Obama, and Jerry Falwell are self-righteous. Then there is arrogance, which is basically ignoring everyone other than oneself. And that's neither good nor evil, but it is unbecoming.

It was well delivered and well recived, and 85000 peoples did show up. But it contained the same liberal ,we will do it for you, because you can't, and probably are not smart enough to anyway, speech with the same liberal hubris and rhetoric that only inspired the leftists. And the McCain picture is old news get some new material, and it had little impact to begin with.

At first I was confused by their outrage, but after thinking about it for a minute it came to me. McCain supporters are actually counting on people not voting, they want only "professional voters" to turn out because any amount of first time voters are more likely to vote against the type of administration we've seen for the past eight years, that's bad news for the pro war, pro corporate, pro elite crowd.
Why would anyone not vote, that is ridiculous. W is not running. McCain is a differant man than W. The left has only W to still hate, and are therefore still running against W. It is really an enigma whay that is.
I'm continually amazed at the types of attacks, I mean comon, now we're assaulting a guy for being too confident, for drawing too much of a crowd? Show you what you're dealing with here.

It is not that he is confident,McCain is confident. The word you are looking for is arogent. I hope the republicans upstage the dems by down staging their convention. That was a very arogent display and was clearly over the top.
