Franken, one vote at a time..........

Veteran gets one-on-one chat with Franken

There’s an old saying in politics that elections are won or lost one vote at a time.

On Friday, DFL-endorsed U.S. Senate candidate Al Franken demonstrated how true that saying can be, when a roundtable on veterans issues at Brigitte’s Cafe his campaign scheduled drew only one participant.

Ok Sting, It's not that funny, what it is...it's pathetic. You'd think more people would show up just because he's a comedian. How many people would show up to see the comedian Rush Limbo if he did a roundtable, of course Rush knows he'll get shot by someone like me if he does that, so he wouldn't. I'd go see Franken just on the chance he might say with his Stuart Smally lisp "Sure nobody showed for my roundtable...and that's...okay..."

You'd think more would show up to discuss the issue if he were a really viable candidate.

What's pathetic is his possible constituents give so little of a shit about their future and their country that they can't be bothered to try to influence it. Sad, very sad. I have had an opportunity to speak to my rep and I jumped on the chance. Apethetic. It makes me want to puke.

Nobody showed up because Franken is a first class ass****. He is void of any common sense, good judgement, moral clarity, (immoral clearity, absolutly.), he is not burdened with good ideas, his jokes are not that funny, if elected he would easily be the stupidest senator ever! Avote for Frankin would be a vote for the death of America, and all that we hold dear. I wish I could get him in front of me and tell that loser to his face that he is a looser. The other pathetic race is Sheehan vs. Pelosi. As much as I think that she is the worst speaker in this nations history, Sheehan in congress would definatly drag down the neighborhood, alot. Maybe her and Frankin could draft a bill for inserting the communist manifesto into the constitution.

I am gonna respect the office and the constitution. Frankin is worse than a liberal, he is a progressive. But, his politics aside, he is a blithering idiot.

It does raise a question though, if it is a sign of being pathetic that Al Franken only attracted one person and if it is evidence of Obama being all about the hype because he attracted 100,000 plus people... what is the appropriate number that should show up at a speech/town hall meeting/rally so that the candidate can be seen as legitimate? What's the magic number?

By the way, one person showing up to see Franken is hilarious, I hope he raised his hand every time he wanted to ask the candidate a question.

Franken: "Yes, you in the front row... again."
