This is happening everywhere, it needs to stop. This is America and you do not need permission to go out side. In a perfect world everyone in the area would break this curfew.

in a perfect world you wouldn't have bullets wizzing by your head as you walked outside.

you don't think the local police aren't trying? thats not a solution, thats a goal. a solution helps you reach that goal. so again, what is the solution here?

They're not interested in solutions. They're interested in yelling "Martial Law!" for any situation that even vaguely fits the bill. And if they didn't declare martial law, and innocent people were harmed in the effort to curb the violence, then the same people would be yelling "Police Brutality!"

Nah, yelling such things is WAY more fun (though not nearly as productive) than offering solutions to the problem that don't confine people to their homes, or put bystanders at unnecessary risk.

I have a solution and it is pretty fucking simple. When you catch some one breaking the law lock them up. These days if you get caught stealing a car they let you go, WTF do you think these people do when they have a car that can't be traced back to them? We have laws, lets follow them.
