John McCain - Can it get any worse than this?

Like many independents I've always thought of John McCain as the self-styled "war hero" and "maverick", his campaign tries to portray him as.

I couldn't help wondering why, after all these decades in the senate, his compaign chose to run away from his record and resort to such silly tactics as the Paris Hilton nonsense.

After all, you'd think there would be something in McCain's record they're proud of. Some accomplishment they could point to and say, "Our guy did that."

Instead I've found a record that in some places is shocking in the depravity and greed it displays.

[quote]SYNOPSIS: To facilitate his special interests, namely: Peabody Western Coal Company (the largest in the US) and the Mohave Generating Facility in Laughlin (operated by Bechtel) delivering low cost electricity to Las Vegas's Casinos, John McCain introduced and arranged for the enforcement of unethical and Constitutionally unlawful legislations which brutally displaced thousands of Navajo farmers onto a Nuclear Waste Dump to live after brutalizing them for two decades in peaceful resistance. McCain assembled (Navajo Resettlement & Navajo Accommodation Agreement, Navajo Settlement, and amendments to PL 93-531, PL S.1003) illegal and unethical enactments designed to force Native American Navajo of the Dineh Band off their Arizona lands, moving them onto Church's Hill in Nevada, depriving them of lands they've owned since 1500 AD.

Using a phony tribal counsel composed of paid stooges, McCain and Peabody Western Coal Company have been progressively stealing and exploiting their lands for mutual personal gain, brutalizing the natives to leave, bulldozing their sacred sites and sweat lodges, beating their members and abusing their elders to the point of terrorizing them and causing health failure and heart failures. Fake Hopi Rangers (BIA Police) arrest and beat any peaceful resistors on their own lands and sacred sites. Three Presidential runs by McCain have been backed by the Mining, Power company and its Nevada Casino clients. McCain's wife has been granted huge Beer distribution contracts at her liquor company by Nevada gaming interests. The supposed "new lands" at Church's Hill are a Superfund Nuclear Waste Dump landfill site! (Read the evidence by clicking below)

Pleasure to be here, thanks. This particular incident in McCain's record earned the US a reprimand for human rights violations from the United Nations.

(Public Law 93-531 as amended in 1996 (Partition), 1999 (Settlement), 2001 (Enforcement of Resettlement) and 2005 (Expansion of Resettlement) by bills introduced by Senator McCain - has led to the United Nations Special Rapporteur, Hon Abdeltalif Amor's condemnation of human rights violations inside the US, over the stripping of rights and forced resettlement of these gentle and deeply spiritual band of Dineh-Navajo Indians from Arizona, swept off of lands they'd owned since 1500 A.D. so that Peabody Western Coal could mine the Coal from beneath their farmlands and tap their wells to slurry pipe it to a power station in Nevada).

Very sad indeed. This is what we get for allowing our government to own 60% of the land west of the Mississippi. It means the people on these lands are just pawns and they will be abused for political gain. McCain is a scumbag, too bad Obama is even worse.

I hear ya. I was going to vote Barr or write in Paul, but my insurance considers the mandatory lobotomy to vote that way an elective procedure, and seeing how I drive a Toyota and not a Cayman, I am not wasting my money to pay for it.

It's really a shame that it's between Obama and McCain. Unfortunately, I will have to vote McCain because he supports more of my interests than Obama. It seems that both canidates are toys of special interest groups, therefore I'm not gonna waste my vote on a third party that has no chance and elect the other canidate, who is against my interests.

I like the name you've chosen. I consider myself a moderate as well. Most of the people I've talked to seem to fall more toward the middle than the extremes of either side. I blame the corrupt politicians their corporate sponsors who gain from keeping us divided.

Mind if I ask which interests of yours McCain supports?

That reprimand and 5 bucks will get you a cup of coffee at Starbucks. But so much about the U.N being a useless impotent pathetic group of international scum. Problem is, Americans have really backed themselves into a corner when this guy is the only alternative to a socialist in the election.

Good of you to be with us. I am of the far left, "far left loon" if you will. I wear it proudly because Billy O'Reilly thinks it's bad. I realize misinformation is how all cable news networks make money, but I find Conservative Meania to be way more reminiscent of Pravda under Stalin, or The China Daily under Mao, or The New York Post under Murdoch. The White House press corp/Fox/Rush/Conservative radio/papers are the Conservative Meania and effectively one organization

"You know all that stuff you learned from listening to Rush Limbaugh and Bill O'Reilly? It's all a lie. Pass it on."

    I love that, thank you.
