How is that company "fascist" it is just a normal corporation that isn't solvent anymore. I just don't understand why you are calling it fascist if it is a normal corporation.

Normal corporations? Fannie and Freddie are privileged pseudo-fascist government entities left over from the FDR era.

Fannie and Freddie are government sponsored enterprises (GSEs). Here is Ron Paul warning about what would eventually happen with them from back in 2003.

Covering up an infected tooth by putting Anbesol on it to disguise the pain won't get rid of the infection. It will simply fester and get worse until going to the dentist is no longer an option because you are in the hospital with sepsis. Sounds like we are choosing sepsis instead of simply the short term pain of dealing with the problem now. Sad, but that's what people get and deserve for asking politicians to fix their problems.

Oh, I see. Wow that is horrible that those companies are allowed to get that monopoly like power, and not to mention the substidies...

Now I agree that Fannie and Freddie shouldn't get bailed out. But as my statements are for alot of government intervention, we should be watchful of this overstepping of power, as Ron Paul was, but I wouldn't throw away all bailouts, yet.

But even if they are used at the right times, they are obviously unconstitutional anyway.

Bailing out a failing businesses believing it will lead to longterm good is like giving $20 to a homeless guy and believing he will buy food with it.

If the politicians want to use their money to distort the market, that's their business.
