Obama accepts Reid's apology "Without Question" but blasted Don Imus in 07 for racial slur.

I find it hypocritical of Obama getting upset and calling Imus out on being offensive towards colored people but yet gives Reid a pass on showing his racism. Why doesn't Obama ask Reid to step down after obvious showing his true colors towards colored people.

A new book about the campaign, "Game Change," by Time magazine reporter Mark Halperin and New York magazine writer John Heileman, said Reid, in private conservations, described Obama as "light-skinned" and with "no Negro dialect."

"I deeply regret using such a poor choice of words. I sincerely apologize for offending any and all Americans, especially African Americans for my improper comments," Reid said in a statement.

Obama issued a statement accepting the apology:"Harry Reid called me today and apologized for an unfortunate comment reported today. I accepted Harry's apology without question because I've known him for years, I've seen the passionate leadership he's shown on issues of social justice and I know what's in his heart," Obama said."As far as I am concerned, the book is closed," he said.

I disagree. Germans are a different nationality of people. Colored people are Americans tought to speak proper english in school just like whites do. What do I think "Negro Dialect" means? Eubonic Ghetto talk.
