This is the reason I dispise most Democrat/Liberal politicians. They don't agree w/ something, they try to shut it down, censor it. Enter the return of the Fairness doctrine.
Tipper is funny. When Al was VP and she got "out of sorts," she had a drumset set-up and would just go bang away. She also had an older black man who was her chauffer. I am not at liberty to tell you who asked him how he was doing one day but his reply was, "Oh you know, Mr. Jack, still drivin' Miss Crazy."

As for MTV, it sucks. You used to be able to turn it on anytime and watch a music video. Now it is just a bunch of reality shows...and not very good ones. I don't even bother with seeing what is on it anymore.

Well, thank the good lord you and your peer group are there to take care of the masses. The combination of having an opinion beyond question with the fact that there are so few of you must be very stressful. When the distress signal goes up, how does the League Of Political Superheroes decide on which of you to send out?

So you're a McBama supporter? (I really don't know since all you ever do is troll rather than discuss real issues)

I wasn't commenting on any of the gentlemen running for President. This thread was about Rock The Vote and its effect on the election until you attempted to commandeer it like nearly every other thread you participate in.

As far as the media fooling the public, it isn't doing any such thing. The media is covering the candidates that both parties nominated with the normal slant that each company/corporation has. The party is also not fooling the public, they are each offering candidates that they think the people want... and it appears they are right.

CLASSY CLASSICS, Obama and Hillary Rock the Vote !

Of young registered voters only about half show up (US Census). It's Obama's to lose because the great job the liberal House and senate has done screwing up the country and blaming Bush for it then saying McCain is Bush's severed conjoined twin. I was young and idealistic but Obama has no substance. He has yet to go head to head with McCain on the issues if he ever does it should be over for Obama. McCain has had a fairly boring run but he has not had all these radical elements come back to haunt him. The Media has given Obama a free pass every time so their horse can win. I trust McCain's experience over Obama's not even one term as senator before announcing his run. There is no way he can look at all the angles and have the solution. McCain did not have a snowball's chance in hell a year ago now he's virtually tied with a guy who has no experience and has flip flopped on all the issues. Obama appeals to the young voters because he's great at prepared inspirational speeches. He commands attention if you are not one who pays attention to the words being spoken. Most Blacks have backed Obama the same reason Kwame Kilpatrick has support in Michigan (Even Jennifer Granholm won't call for his resignation) Kwame was the "HIP HOP Mayor" he was cool and well dressed but now we can see he is so corrupt. The Hip Hop Crowd likes him though, He has stripper parties and cheats on his wifey. Standard for that crowd. I would love to have a black president so all those who feel they can't make it in a white country can see that's not true. It's not Obama though. It won't be the end of humanity if he wins because the congress is the real power with the supreme court. There are too many safeguards in place that will not allow him to destroy the country. Which is why I get mad when people bash any president out of political aspirations. Hope McCain wins but it's not like I really have a choice in the matter anyway.

Obama is self-destructing. The black caucus increasingly but so far quietly disagrees with his needs based affirmative action proposal. He's lost more than 5% in the polls since early April and will probably be trailing McCain by August 1st.

I think this trend will continue. as I have posted on other threads i think he crashes and burns in the end. The more we see of him the more the spell will dissipate . I say he loses and loses big. his base will see his pandering to the right and the right is already leery of him.

I don't think you should vote for him because he's cute. It's because he has a brain.

    Okay, he's cute too !

Why would anybody fail to vote for Obama?

are you talking about him or her?

Hmm Obama is more like the mouth piece for a bunch of wishy washy puppeteers who can't seem to make up their minds. He would be a good looking guy if he had that growth burned or frozen off his face. A brain is worthy of debating since he refuses to meet McCain on the playground for a few sparring matches (aka debates/townhalls) your enthusiastic and fresh idealism is cute though. The MTV crowd finds the presidents underwear more important than Child Rape or Sex Slaves being imported. If Ryan Reynolds made a movie called National Lampoon's Child Rape and Sex Crimes which had a Tera Reid cameo. It would win an MTV movie award for best kiss. Enough said. The M stands for morons :waving: You may now go back to downloading your Emo bands now.
