Thread: I have to vote for Obama or else I'm throwing my vote away

Sad to say but it's true. I'm told that if I don't vote for a "viable" canidate I'll be throwing my vote away, and considering Connecticut is a lock to vote D no matter who the party parades, I have no choice but to vote for Obama if I want my vote to count. I'd like to thank everyone for helping me see the light, I wouldn't want to throw my vote away.

There's still time to move to a different state before the election.

South Carolina used to be considered a lock for the GOP. Now. The Black vote will close the gap and possibly win the state for Barry and Michelle. Sounds like Conneticut needs more white people.:sarcasm:

I would rather toss my vote, or don't vote before I vote for Obama, or McCain.

I'm glad that you've come to a reasonable position and that you're voting for Obama. I've decided to vote for him also instead of McCain. His position on the issues, especially the war, just makes more sense than McCain.

Sparta has reasonable, effective choices and he's decided to make use of them instead of wasting his vote on some third party candidate who has no chance of winning. I think that's quite intelligent of him.

Really, are you happy that the independent mind in this country has been destroyed by these so called choices. You as an American HAVE to pick from a lying piece of trash or a lying piece of trash. They tout that as a choice, well Bourne I call it a theft of democracy.

I never said that, my inference is that you have been given two very bad "choices" here, unless you actually think Obama or McCain is the best their party has, then I would say strike up "The End" as it is over baby.
