Who is funding the Afghan Taliban? You don’t want to know

Some days one just has to think about why one reads the news. I mean it gives you a head ache.

It seems that the cost of money laund....err doing business in Afghanistan is 20%, thats a pretty damn good cut of US tax payer money to ensure a never ending illegal occupation. This alone should be enough to demand an end to this madness, but then who will protect the pipeline? Shit I have an idea for that as well, pay the Taliban 20% of what it would have cost us to build McDonald's and the like, and we can not only save face, but 80% of the money being wasted. Hell that would be a boon for their economy, actually it would make ours look even worse, and safer for the troops breathing DU.

Problem solved hey.....screetch....not so fast, thinking outside of the so called box is a no no, therefore expect to be their paying your enemy to kill your brothers in sisters for one hell of a long time!

Reagan helped build the Taliban in the first place.
"Heartland sponsors the Nongovernmental International Panel on Climate Change (NIPCC), an international network of scientists who write and speak out on climate change. Heartland pays a team of scientists approximately $300,000 a year to work on a series of editions of Climate Change Reconsidered" - Heartland internal fundraising plan

Umm, well that is so not true at all. How can you beat an army that YOUR funding??

    Losing Afghanistan

Though U.S. force levels are higher than ever, the U.S. military situation is worse than ever. Though President Karzai is expected to win re-election, he is regarded as the ineffectual head of a corrupt regime. Though we have trained an Afghan army and police force of 220,000, twice that number are now needed. The Taliban are operating not only in the east, but in the north and west, and are taking control of the capital of the south, Kandahar.

You need to defend the nation, not your vote Bourne, Your generalizations are baseless. We have been their long enough. Were looking like the Russians, but it took US support for Russia to look silly.

We're not supplying funds to the Taliban. They're extorting funds from recipients.

Unfortunately it's defeatists like you who want to cut and run leaving Afghanistan as a base of operations for the terrorists. You know, the same terrorists that caused 911.

We need to surge troops into Afghanistan and beat the Taliban and al Qaeda.

If I wanted the terrorist the did 911, then I would start by identifying who paid the good Dr. Zack to use anthrax against Bush's enemies and work from there.

This war is a fraud, and we are losing, and it is US tax dollars that are supporting those people who kill our troops. You can't spin your way out of that.

That's an irrational opinion none of which you can support with proof.

US tax dollars are being extorted by the Taliban from those receiving aid. All the more reeason to defeat the Taliban. And we are doing just that in spite of the handwringers and defeatists.

I am surprised you didn't call me a surrender monkey like all the good little neocons.

Dr. Phillip Zack did the anthrax attack Bourne, hell they have video of breaking into the place after he was fired. Good grief.

Perhaps because, unlike libertopians, I don't need to insult to make a point. You know, like those brain dead libertopians who call everyone they oppose a neocon.

They have videos of others being let in as well. Why hasn't Zack been arrested. Because there isn't sufficient evidence. In other words, you're guessing again.
