Obama Surrogate Attacks McCain military record

"He hasn't been there and ordered the bombs to fall" as a wartime commander, the general said on CBS. [Gen. Wesley]Clark is mentioned as a possible Obama running mate, although he originally supported Senator Hillary Rodham Clinton.
Democrat with military background assails McCain's credentials - International Herald Tribune

Someone should remind him McCain actually dropped the bombs over enemy territory.

"Brian Rogers, of the McCain campaign, was quick to hit back in a release: "If Barack Obama's campaign wants to question John McCain's military service, that's their right. But let's please drop the pretense that Barack Obama stands for a new type of politics. The reality is, he's proving to be a typical politician who is willing to say anything to get elected, including allowing his campaign surrogates to demean and attack John McCain's military service record.""

The guy finished at the back of his academy class, crashed four planes in accidents, was shot down, and then captured. I would say his record sucks.

Interesting. So General Clark says somehting, and you blame it on Obama? That is some fascinating stuff there Sting-man. Usually, I blame the person who actually said it rather than blaming a person who did not say it.

willing to say anything to get elected
Pretty much describes this whole joke of an election between Obongo and McStain.

I pilot dropping bombs hardly has to be a military genius. All he has to do is flick a switch@!
(& in McCain's case he doesn't even know who we're fighting in Iraq....Just like his commander in chief!)

Not at all D. It's the logical conclusion I came to when you championed perhaps one of the most liberal Democrats out there.

By the way, I do agree with you that General Clark is a pretty sharp guy, though I am a bit disappointed in this little outburst.
