Thread: War on Psychos: For The Confused Ones During This Election Year

I have heard from a few people and been questioned on my ability to correctly speak on topics such as the war we are fighting. I have left out many links but if you can't understand that there has been Hijackings, Murdered Israeli Olympic teams other various nightmares around the world like Missionaries being abducted for ransom (and murdered) in the Philippenes going on for decades.. It is time we did something. Any time I have a disagreement with a candidate (no names but sounds like yo mama) on views (not related to the war in Iraq) People keep going back to the war in Iraq and Bush's Horrible policies and he's the blame for the mess today. I'm not a Bushie and definately not affiliated with any party but What would any of you do if handed the shit sandwich he was.?.. The Middle East's dogs have been shitting on our lawns long enough. Make their owners clean up the mess. The only thing we have done is buy their oil and remained friends with Israel.. That warrants this?.......

There are many more than this but why should I have to educate those who think we can have diplomatic relations with people like this. We are cleaning house now after years of neglect if we don’t do it now future generations will be scraping body parts off the pavement. Like it or not we are making a better world. War is horrible but we should not be targets for those who have better “Ideas” as how to run the world. Allah willing. - Listen to advisors and not a 30 year old think tank

The point is that people who were/are experts, who had/have experience, who knew/know the situation on the ground have FOUGHT these bad decisions made by the POTUS and his merry band of cabinet members every step of the way. And these people who refuse to 'get with the program' instead get marginalized, demonized, and ignored in favor of what appears to be a predetermined gameplan that is not in the interests of any of the nations involved.

Hell, they even threw the slimy Scott McClellan under the bus once he went down the Yellow Brick Road of reality and got a conscious from the Wizard.

This is not Monday Morning Quarterbacking. This is calling it for what it is. You are, of course, free to ignore that there are people leading this country that don't give a fuck about it, but that doesn't make it any less the truth.

Well you called Scott McClellen Slimy so we agree again.. If you have read any of my posts you know I Do not allign myself with any powers that be because I would always be dissapointed with the results. I will never ignore that we pay people to tell us what to do and most of them have checkered pasts and even presents. What I would like to say is People coming out NOW who say the war is illegal and the intel was from unreliable sources should have come out then and say what was going on.. Find it suspicious that most of these people write books? The war was mis-handled from day one. When I learned we were going to Iraq I felt the number of troops was way too little. I also feel that we were being given a complete stretch of the truth to go there with Powell talking to the U.N. about the mobile Ice cream trucks, I mean Weapons labs. I'm with you on that. To say that Saddam gave open and honest inspections throughout the U.N. process is a lie and part of Bush's amunition. What I believe to be the true reason of us invading (notice what I said.. I believe not I know because I'm not a mind reader or on the Bush team of advisors) was the Payback for the attempt on Bush 1's life, the current state of the middle east, the oil (good and bad reasons) and the fact that thug like saddam "had" access to Weaponry that "could" be used against others. This could all be taken care of in Gulf war 1 why we didn't?.. who knows.. I've seen Cheney on tv from 94?.. Saying it would be a quagmire.. Giggity. Even knowing all that I believe the Iraqi problems would have spilled over here one day if not Israel. Going there was going to happen.

I noticed you didn't give any evidence to what you claim like I asked. What would you do?.. Not what you would "not" do? Are you in favor of just minding our own business packing up our tents (Embassy+Military+Economic) and sealing off the borders? I'm sure you don't mind not traveling and being a prisoner in your own country. If we completely shut ourselves off from the rest of the world we might be ok.. People who argue the point of the opposition or the other countries involved hardly do so with any proof. All I hear is Idealistic opinions sounding very similar to the Daily Show. How do we respect Israel and get Oil without making enemies over there?. I know lets build a time machine and kill the inventor of the internal combustion engine so we can still be on horseback.. What country?.. Congress gave the go ahead. The only countries we are having any combat in is Iraq and Afghanistan (I believe we don't even go into Pakistan because of Musharef).. Again with Congress approval.. The POTUS can not declare war without Congress. We don't need a countries apporval to invade them thats awfuly silly. Im vexed.. Please explain how.

Opinion is fine. If you challenge wiki ( I believe the other sources I have far out weigh wiki though) about the accuracy of information there you should contact them about the grave lie they are perpetrating on the american Web-surfer. You did not state your view as an opinion you made claims that should be backed up by info.. Scientists use evidence when making theories and sometimes they are wrong thats why we call them theories. I started on this site to better understand the facts and peoples point of view so I could decide myself.. After asking questions and getting snide responses about the accuracy of my opinions I thought I might be given the same courtesy from those with opposing view points. I have yet to get any. I thought the Bush bashers had something other than Jon Stewert, Al Franken and Bill Mahr (even Keith Olberman pretends to be a legitimate journalist).. I think they are all funny entertainers but now I do not find them to be good sources of info. Again we agree on the mis-managment and the games played on us but I "believe" I know the reason for the war and Bush was too big a wuss to say it... Typical Politician
