Massive DEA raids planned for Humboldt
Looks like the DEA wants to corner the market. If I were a pot grower I would pick my plants and run like hell.

The drug war is insane from every prospective but keeping it out of the hands of minors which is not the goal.
I think the DEA is a little off track unless they know something I don't because Humbolt was a big spot in the 70's and 80's and then CAMP got all the outdoor growers. The Hell's Angels aren't cooking meth anymore, Mexicans in Mexico have that market now.
They need to lay of the Green..Marijuana is a victimless crime. The DEA needs to get down to the border and team up with homeland security and shoot heroin and meth smugglers on the spot....maybe create some kind of deterent. Chasing around a bunch of bearded reclusive hippies who never hurt anyone is a waste of DEA funds.
Hell's angels still continue to cook meth. Dont be naive. Further the medicinal pot angle only works if you have actual medical need. Inexplicably cancer, arthritis or any other medical disorder that cause alot of pain. If they are growing it to resell for profit then in deed they should be busted. It is a federal crime. Just like brewing moonshine for resell is a federal crime. ATF would be all over that. What you aren't going to fight for bootleggers?
Further you must admit that growing medicinal pot for ones own medical need is one thing. Yet for someone who has no medical need growing large amounts of product for distribution is in fact illegal. Therefore the raids are valid. I have no problem with someone using doctor prescribed pot if they are riddled with tumours or completely overwhelmed with pain due to arthritus but I do have a problem with growers who will inevitably sell to minors just to make a quick buck. These same pot growers who also will sell crank or smack if they get any to make a fast buck. You understand what I'm saying?
