In interviews for Stephen Hayes’ 2007 biography of Cheney, McCain “strongly� asserted that Cheney “has been of enormous help to this president of the United States.� Politico’s Jonathan Martin reports today that in unpublished comments to Hayes, McCain also said that he would consider Cheney for a post in his administration:

Going further, McCain even told Hayes in comments heretofore unpublished that he’d consider Cheney for an administration post.
Asked whether he’d be interested in Cheney had the vice president not already have served under Bush for two terms, McCain said: “I don’t know if I would want him as vice president. He and I have the same strengths. But to serve in other capacities? Hell, yeah.�

Well there you go folks all the proof you need that McLame is going to go for a 3rd Bush term and even bring back the prince of darkness himself to help him do it. So all you rightwhiners out there who keep on crying that the dems are being unfair when they say that McCain=Bush's 3rd term you need to just quit crying and start admitting that its true.

So what? We still have a war on terror to win. Dick Cheney is more of a public servant than you. And McCain will have the courage to stand up to Tehran and O'bama will not. Why not worry about what the future might hold as opposed to concentrating on the past. Bush's third term is so much Daily Kos, Huffington Post, George Soros, lefist drivel.

We will essentially get a third Bush term whether its McCain or Obama. Only the figureheads will change.

HAHAHAHA mroe of public servant then me? Son I am PUBLIC librarian and have been for almost a decade. When not working to encourage kids to read, I do probono work for homeless shelters, literacy programs, food drives and campaigning for various candidates who have proven themselves to be in favor of serving the public rather then their cronies...as Mr. Cheney and the rest of thier GOP ilk are want to do.


McCain might have courage but I have yet to see anyone impeach Obama's courage. Given that he went door to door on the south side of chicago methinks said courage exists in spades.


As to leftist drivle kiddo facts is facts and McLame is for pretty much every Bushco program out there....One must wonder if you get your material from Hannity as it seems to have little basis in reality.

I applaud your service,Sir. But what is that compared to saving the world from tyrany. The southside of Chicago is where every one is the same color of the one knocking on doors. I don't listen to Hannity, he rerpeatedly harps on the same material. I posted on another post that I think O'bama is a closet Muslim, a racist and a communist. and un american. Last summer when all the candidates were in Iowa, And I was seriously looking the democrats over, They were standing on a stage and they played the national anthem, every one but O'bama placed their hand over their heart, he lost me there and has done nothing or said anything that has made me look his way. He's a loser.

SOrry if the truth hurts kiddo but public service has been my life for as long as I have been an adult. And most of mine has not involved a paycheck or for that matter the appreciation of the money grubbing right....well until they fall on hard times and then suddenly you all come hat in hand and ask to be on the dole. 1. Being the same color doesn't protect you from being victimized by a criminal act. In matter of fact black on black crime is more common than white on black or black on white.

Never been to the Southside have you? It has many black neighborhoods but it also holds Chicago's China Town, a large Hispanic population and in the last 10 years has seen an influx of Eastern Europeans.

As to not putting ones hand over ones hear during the national anthem....here are photos of him doing so and one of Bush dissing the anthem by rubbing his tummy!
