Do you wish the repubs had nominated someone other than McCain? Do you think McCain would have been the repub nominee if it had been up to PH?

If the internet whackos like us were truely representative of society Ron Paul would have been a contender but he wasn't, he barely ever pulled 5% of the vote anywhere. Just like Dean in the last election, they said because of his support over the net he would win but he did not. We are a very small segment of society and drawing conclusions based on what people on the net say is a pretty poor predicter of what will actually happen.
Your point about McCain supporters does not deminish my point at all. If the poll were different and we asked who supported McCain from the beginning we would have few marks by yes. That would reflect the national average. But Hillary had a HUGE following yet in PH it was small sliver of support. My point is that PH is skewed and does not reflect national average. We have only two Hillary supports here.

Well that is encouraging. If the national average has few supporting McCain from the beginning, and Hillary a HUGE following, and Obama's even larger, must mean he is going to run away with it.
