Thread: Is it just me or does actually make sense?

So i was looking through Jerry Brown's positions in the 1992 presidential race, and some of them I had actually forgotten about.

1. Flat tax.
2. No corporate taxes for new business in economically depressed areas.
3. Expanded trade apprenticeships.
4. Foriegn aid only if it aids in bringing about peace.
5. cut the military budget in half and let the military realign itself.

Flat tax makes perfect sense. That's why it's not going to be implemented by a lefty.

Should be "no corporate taxes", period.

"Trade apprentices"? This ain't, I suppose, the step before journeyman.

Should be foreign aid only if they kiss our ass.

Align the military budget to suit our defense posture, then figure out what that should cost.
