    Re: McCains VP Conundrum

If he plays to the base and chooses a hardcore conservative - he's dead in the water. No crossover vote - and he has to have a crossover vote.

Personally, I'd like to see him pick Olympia Snowe - now that might invigorate his campaign!

I think he will pick Romney. Sure a Souterner would help him but so does Romney. Romney actually would have taken the whole ball of wax were it not for Michigan delegates cut in half. McCain knows that Romney would help him pull in voters. Also Romney would just simply be a good campaigner. He has strong credentials on economics which also helps McCain since McCain does not.

Some people like the idea of Kay Bailey Hutchison from Texas as his VP. Wouldn't that be interesting if Obama opts out of Hillary as his runnning mate and McCain picks Hutchison? You could just hear the sound of all of the female supporters of Hillary stampeding over to McCain.

McCain wants a result in Iraq worthy of the sacrifice made by our Troops and worthy of what's right for the Iraqis. Obama?

Trickle down economics? Name one generation in American history where trickle down economics never existed. We all play a part in the grand scheme of a capitalist society. This is a phrase for liberals to invoke class warfare.

Where in the constitution does it say we provide healthcare for individual citizens? Healthcare, should be a issue for indivdual states.
Obama is a fool to believe the Federal Government can sustain a massive program by raising taxes on a certain class to pay for another class's healthcare. Not only is it stupid idea. It's dumb.

I think it'll be Romney too.
Kay Bailey Hutchinson can't do anything for him, he has Tx pretty well sewn up.
