Thread: Hillary's intentions

It is my belief that Hillary has absolutely zero interest in being the VP. Her end game now is for the election in 4 years. Hillary is not stupid. She knows there is a very good chance of Obama losing. All she is doing now is making the case that she was robbed of the nomination and will do everything she can now to make that clear. I know the talk is that she is going to concede Friday but I do not believe it. I think she wants to cry foul on Florida. So she can later in four years claim she was robbed.

She would be a fool not to take the position. It was asked and answerd once, the answer was something like "because it is a step away from the presidency". The same applies here.

She would be a fool to take the job. If Obama wins he may go 4 or 8 years. If he goes 4 then the next President will be a Republican. If he goes 8 then at best it is 50/50 Republican or Democrat.

If McCain wins maybe he will go 4 years and she would have a legitimate shot. So this is her best bet. Being a VP does nothing for her.

Shit JOM if they looked that far into the future then they would have avoided this election like the plague. Things are barely afloat right now, Bush has been playing kick the can with so many aspects of this nation. After the election things will get ugly. Thats why the smart republicans backed out. They left McCain to take a fall, the dems win, the blame game begins.

A good third of the regular Democrats will not vote for Obama. Hillary knows this. She has a shot in 4 years if McCain is the President. She is definately thinking this. She will not take the VP spot if offered. She will let Obama know this and he will not offer it. She will cut him down behind the scenes.

Exactly. Very astute. We are entering the 'cons enjoy their loot/play victim' phase of American politics. But the Dems are so enticed by the shiny new levers of power, they can't help themselves.

McCain is not going to be the next president and Obama is not going to ask Hillary to be VP. If Hillary does not throw everybit of her support toward Obama and he were to lose this race Hillary will never hold public office again. She has already been told by all the bigwig democrats in DC today that she will do as she is told or her days as a successful democrat are over. She will have no friends whatsoever in her party in congress. She best work on getting her NY job back before any grandiose plans about being president.
