Obama Latin America speech in Miami

Obama really believes in government and he'll figure out a way to make it bigger and more active.
Recently, he explicitly endorsed US involvement in the failed drug war in Colombia as well as US involvement in that country's ancient civil war.

For the people of Colombia – who have suffered at the hands of killers of every sort – that means battling all sources of violence. When I am President, we will continue the Andean Counter-Drug Program, and update it to meet evolving challenges. We will fully support Colombia’s fight against the FARC. We’ll work with the government to end the reign of terror from right wing paramilitaries. We will support Colombia’s right to strike terrorists who seek safe-haven across its borders. And we will shine a light on any support for the FARC that comes from neighboring governments. This behavior must be exposed to international condemnation, regional isolation, and – if need be – strong sanctions. It must not stand.

Another undeclared failed foreign war endorsed by the peace candidate.

This coming from the guy that praises the border patrol guys who shot a drug smuggler? I would think this would make you happy if you were not so blinded by your bias.

You made the point that he was smuggling drugs, not I. You defended the illegal action of the border patrol agents, not I. Don't get all pissy with me when I point out your obvious hypocrisy.

No hypocrisy on my part. There's a big difference between defending our own borders from illegal alien criminals and getting involved in the internal affairs of South America.

After reading the entire speech I can't find fault with anything Obama said. Defensor, what's your point apart from your general dislike for Obama?

The point is made very clearly in the OP. Stop playing games.

It's sounds like defensor has listened to some of what Ron Paul has had to say. That is a good thing and far from hypocritical. In this republic of ours we are to look out for ourselves not going around stickin our noses in everyone elses business.
