Can you please rationalize allowing Iran to create and use a nuclear weapon against innocent women and children and then using one of our own against them as the better plan than not allowing it in the first place?

So I can translate this as: we let Bin Laden escape and now he's really hard to find so lets attack Iraq. And now that the Iraq diversion has run out of steam lets attack Iran and run up the casualties even higher on another limited war.
