In many ways, I think America is stupider now than 30 years ago.

And you can't take that away!

Why would I want to take it away?

Nah man, I want to help you get what you want!

What's in a label? Libertarian, is... the name of a party? Who knows what that is. Liberal used to mean "interested in individual freedoms". Dunno what happened...

Here's something to check out: http://www.americanpopulistparty.org/a1liberals.php

It describes liberalism to a tee. Now "libertarian", is what liberalism used to be - they called it "classical liberalism". It was the ideology of Thomas Jefferson, and James Madison.

And those two, knew very well what they were up against, relative to government. In fact, they are the ones who insisted on our Bill of Rights - which gives us the Freedom to Assemble, and the Right to Bear Arms. That way, when our government goes wayward, and people start talking about it, Joe can say to Bob, "hey... psst... let's all have a meeting over at the Rec Center, and bring your rifle!"

Here - a whimsical tribute to Mr. Jefferson and Mr. Madison - and Patrick Henry and Sam Adams too - http://www.desertedge.us/index.php

I suggest you check out the American Populist Party. They're the only party in town that wants to do what needs to be done. They make the libertarians look like a bunch of pot-smoking pansies. They're all about putting an end to the Statist mess our government has gotten us into, and while they're at it they're going to put the corporations back in their rightful place - which is at the service of the People.

Nanny corporations are the same as nanny governments - anything that leads to a condition of individual dependence is anathema to liberty and freedom. And anyone with a pair of eyes and a brain, can clearly see that the United States is in a position of dependence, right now.

What we seek is independence. Dependence is the opposite of freedom. Think about it - then sign the online ballot petition that will get the American Populist Party on the ballot in your state!
