Yes is it not about time we drilled off shore for more oil?
Here in Lindale Texas we were paying $1.86 now it is up to $2.19. I figure just like every year the closer it gets to school letting out for the summer it goes up.
It goes up in the summer because OPEC tries to control production and then we drive more and thus increase demand. OPEC has been doing a pretty good job of cutting production and we had decreased demand (because of depressed economy) so we shall see where it ends.
$2.29 in my neck of the woods. The Memorial Day holiday signals the beginning of vaction season which means demand tends go up. It will be interesting this year to see how it works out regarding demand. Like last year Americans are curtailing vacation plans due to the economy. I'm thinking gas will be above $3.00 by the July 4th holiday, hope I'm wrong.

$2.12 in Atlanta, Ga.
