You see, if Paul creates enough noise prior to, or during the convention, he will run as a third party. And let's think about what that may look like in...September shall we...

If Barack is the candidate, he will be under intense pressure, most unfair back-handed racism, But thats for the ten other threads. His support is already shaken, can we simply assume it will get any better? But if Hillary becomes the nominee, it will be under the 'He was unelectable umbrella', and her suport would suffer as well. The Dems are getting weak.

Ron Paul is essentially invisible right now, with money in his pocket. When September hits, who's message will be right in step with Everyone's personal problems? The story of Bessie who doesn't have the insurance to remove a mole, or the fact that we cannot afford gas is that the dollar has been destroyed because we are spend a trillion a year overseas?

Paul is the only candidate who hasn't been touched by a scandal, is a fresh face to most, and has an impecable record. Will the other candidates have enough time to catch up? Maybe I envision a fairy tale ending, but I know too well how quickly the Americans pop-cultured minds Flock to the latest and greatest..

Under the radar is good, especially when he hasn't shown many cards yet.. I mean Baller won Big Brother?? Who'da thunk it?
Yeah, under the radar is good, but Ron Paul never really got into the radar to begin with. If Rev Wright could be found on Youtube, you know Paul's armor chinks are all over the place...like his old newsletter about "fleet-footed" blacks. Oh, sure, he didn't write it but Barack didn't write Wright's sermons either.

I would be REALLY surprised if Paul could weather what either Clinton or Obama have withstood. He just lacks the mettle. Maybe he's a great legislator, but I don't think he has presidential chops, regardless his positions.

And I think if he runs as a third party it will help the Democrats more than McCain. So I guess I hope he does. It will make up for Nader in 2000...heh-heh.

...but I think your thinking is reasonable in that he might just do all that.
