    Senator Clinton Turns Up Heat

    link

Democratic presidential contender Hillary Clinton said on Friday that rival Barack Obama could not stand the pressure of the White House after the Illinois senator complained about tough questions at a debate.

Clinton said Obama's complaints about questions posed to him in their televised debate on Wednesday night raised doubts about whether he was tough enough to stand up to the scrutiny of the presidency.

The debate questions, which focused on a series of controversies and comments involving Obama, drew complaints on Thursday from the Illinois senator and from viewers.

"I know some of my opponent's supporters and my opponent are complaining about the hard questions," Clinton, a former first lady, told a rally.

"Well, having been in the White House for eight years and seeing what happens in terms of the pressures and the stresses on a president, that was nothing," she said.
Alright. Now its a campaign. Senator Clinton is gnawing away at Obama's weaknesses and while many moderate Democrats like Obama, they may start rethinking who they'll vote for. Everyone knows that Senator Clinton is tough enough. Obama is looking a little fragile. Hillary needs to start campaigning directly against McCain, demonstrate enthusiasm for her issues, and begin treating Obama with pity and compassion. This should have the effect of making Obama indignant and regaining the confidence of her base inside her own party.

Sorry BG. The only way Hill gets the nod is if the super delegates hand it to her.

If she wins Penn. I think that is exactly what will happen. Hillary has won nearly all the big Democratic states. She did well in Florida and Ohio too. If you look at the electoral map, Obama is still very weak indeed. The Democrats shouldn't be afraid to lose the excitement that comes with Obama, because there is no excitement for McCain on the other side.

Even if she does take PA, the margin won't be big enough to make a difference. Obama will make up for whatever little gain she gets by winning in NC.

If Hillary wins PA by the same margin Obama wins NC, she will have gained ground and require less super delegates. That's all she needs to keep going.
