Thread: Why Obama is NOT Anti-American

I've heard a lot of people say that Senator Obama is anti-American. Such subjective accusations require a bit more reflection. Obama may be against the America you know and love, but he is for the America the Far Left is dreaming up and constructing. Senator Obama is the best chance for the Far Left to apply their socialist programs, change US foreign policy, end capitalism and globalism as we know it, bring the United States closer to Europe, and improve our image with other liberal nations that have become enemies of the Bush Co., i.e. Venezuela, Cuba, and Zimbabwe.

Big Government Liberalism is on the rise and Obama adds inspiration and excitement to the cause. But that doesn’t make him anti-American, because in Obama’s America, what he stands for is very much American. It just isn’t friendly to capitalism, republicanism, individual liberty, and ownership rights.

Let's see:

Obama is opposed to taking money from the rich and throwing it at anyone who has a lobby, thus he's not anti-American.

No, wait. He wants to do that, and besides, Robbin' Hood was English, though the gangsta spelling makes creates an affiliation with Obama that is opportunistic, to say the least.

Obama is opposed to taxing the middle class and throwing it at anyone who has a lobby, thus he's not anti-American.

No, wait. He wants to do that, and besides, he's a Democrat, which means he doesn't have a clue what being an American is about.

"Anti-American" is is relative. It all depends on whose point of view says he is so. I believe the issue should be whether or not Obama is operating in the people's best interest.
