Latest PA & NC Polls Show Shifts To Obama

Did his race speech turn things around? Two new polls seem to indicate so...

Two new polls of Pennsylvania and North Carolina, the two biggest remaining states left, were released today and show momentum towards Barack Obama.

- First, Rasmussen now has Clinton up 49% to 39% in Pennsylvania. Last week, she led 51% to 38% and the week before she led 52% to 37%. This data is important for a few reasons. First of all, polls last week seemed to show Clinton expanding her lead in PA, probably due to the Wright controversy. Obviously that has now stopped, at least according to this poll, and Obama is now gaining, even if its only a slight gain. It should be noted that Obama has yet to even start major campaigning in the state.

Much like Texas, the scared Neocons will cross over because Lord Limbaugh demands it, and Hills will win by a margin smaller than the average politician's conscious. Then we will have to sit through another round of bs about how Hills has 'momentum' and is 'making a strong showing among voters'.

Then *I* have to deal with people asking me stupid questions like, 'why are you a drunk'?

I tell ya what, I live in Tx & haven't seen any "scared neocons" yet, I've seen a few neolibs piss their pants though. :whistling:

It's not so much fear as it is entertainment that motivates conservatives to cross over in the primaries. Not too mention it's tacticially the right thing to do. Having those two go at it as long as possible serves their purposes.

Yeah with enough crossovers the superdelegates will inform Dean his services are no longer desirable. (FL&MI)

Obama lost so much in the Pennsylvania polls with his lying about Wright. He cannot stop the bleeding but I hope he can turn it around and some how knock Hillary off. I want him in the General election. That would be sweet! Unfortuneately he is going to get his clock cleaned in PA.

With the PC crowd in charge of the Dems he may still pull it off. And don't forget with Rezko in the wings if he wins the general the Dems will become an endangered political species and may go extinct. Keep the faith baby!

I also live in Texas and it was infuriating to see how many time the 'Obama rallies are like a cult meeting' meme was pushed.
