    Shouldn't have bailed out anyone. Rising tides lift all boats, true enough. Taking on too many deadweights will sink some of them, and that's a lesson that has to be seen once in a while.

    Not sure about this. The depth of this far beyond what you are hearing about in the MSM. Since the fed will intervene like crazy until at least election day, guess "sworn in" is the operative phrase.

    Unless McCain says that Fed should not have intervened to the tune of almost $300 billion, then he deserves no credit. In the last few weeks the Fed has literally changed their charter lending practices. Wish I could borrow at 2.5% with virtually no collateral.
