so everyone in america is an accessory to murder? and the u.s. government endorses murder and genocide?

thats pretty hateful. now i know parsley is white, and hes not yelling, but this is pretty hateful. i don't appreciate being called an accessory to murder. and i know people that have gotten abortions, and i don't like them being called murderers.

rather funny, almost any country commits murder. The act of taking another's life with the intent to do so. when you wield a military issue weapon and kill another you've committed murder, doesn't mean that murder was not necessary or even just, but its still murder. so this claim by McCain's pastor does nothing more than bring the truth to light.

Parsley would have been better advised to use the correct term, kill, rather than murder. Murder is a legal term.

see? its not a hate crime if its done in the church! i wonder if parsley killed someone in his church as part of his religion if he'd thinks he should be prosecuted for it.

Hmmm, seems to me that parsley is discussing the hate crime legislation. I too believe that legislation does more to divide tham unite. If a white or straight person is murdered, are they any less dead because they aren't a minority?

you may want to read what a hate crime actually is, since you obviously don't know from that question. its about TARGETING a certain person out of hate for who that person is in terms of their race or gender or sexual orientation. you can kill anyone you want, it doesn't make it a hate crime.

Oh no, I do understand that, my opposition is that it's not "fair & equal" justice. I still ask, if a person that's murdered isn't of the "preferred gender, race, or sexual preference", are they any less dead. Why does our justice system make a difference in our society?
