Thread: 4000 Americans Killed in Iraq

Yesterday was a sad day, our military lost 4 soliders in a road side bombing. That brought the total KIA to 4000. As a US Army Veteran it pains me deeply everytime one of our brave troops dies in combat. We should all pray for them and their families. They are the best and bravest among us.

Your numbers for Iraq are a bit low. You have neglected to include private contractors in these counts. Below is one source but its over a year old so I'm sure the numbers are higher now.

Improved medical procedures have also trimmed the Number of deaths.

I just hope I wont have to fight republicans all my life to make sure our wounded Get the best medical coverage on earth and all needed services.

That is the forgotten costs we and they will be paying for many years to come.

An astounding job indeed US troops !!!! God bless you all !!! This will indeed be looked at as one of America's greatest accomplishments of war. In fact History will show it as one the finest and most honorable actions taken by America in creating a new Democracy at a cost much less than ever before in the history of humankind !!!! You have much to be proud of US Military, many thanks for your sacrifices they will not be forgotten !!!!

It actually looks as though Iraq will cost us more blood than our own Revolution, I didn't know that.
