    Forgotten victims

When somone says "victims" most people don't think that men falsely accused of rape are victims but they are and most are not as financially able to do a background check on their accusers the way the Duke boys and Kobe Bryant were able to do (in both cases the accusers were skanks). There is a 60% false accusation rate for rape in the U.S. and one of those falsely accused was William Hetherington:National Coalition of Free Men (NCFM) . I recently wrote a letter stating to grant Hetherington parole. Like I said there is a 60% false accusation rate were the woman deliberately lied. This doesn't sound like a free country to me and justice for all is certainly a joke.

I would suggest that you move to a Middle Eastern country. I am sure your brand of feminism will go over well there.

    I'm not a feminist. In fact I'm an anti-feminist.

If 60% of rape allegations are found to be untrue... doesn't that mean that false rape charges are being found to be untrue at a really high rate?

Unless you're suggesting that 100% of accusations were actually untrue but only a scant 60% were caught.

So anyway... how's your own rape trial goin bud?

You keep pointing to 60% false accusation rate. At least give a real source.

Kobe Bryant and the Duke players: You take the two publicized cases of the decade, and call the accusers "skanks". Then cite an organization directly involved in the issue as a source.

    What a flimsy argument.

    Re: Forgotten victims

I think the guy has a good point. there are lots of laws on the books to protect women from abusive mates, but these laws take away freedoms as well as protect. There are lots of cases of men being falsly accused of abuses and rapes for the woman's gain. I think the author of this thread gives a couple of prime examples. The protection of identity and such worked against the Duke men in their bid for justice. What protected the woman in this case actually infringed on the rights of the men who turned out to be innocent of rape. I think there are also everyday abuses of the protection laws during the implimentation of a civil divorce case. I have my doubts about the alledged abuses of Heather Mills at the hand of Paul as she claimed in her case. Many men are falsly accused of abuse during divorce cases. Men can be turned away from their home on trumped up charges of abuse.

    Re: Forgotten victims

There is a lingering assumption that women are more vulnerable than men in the legal system. In truth, all parties should be protected - the accussed should have their identity protected as well (unless found guilty).
Heather Mills was a complete bitch wasn't she?
