    Will the Democrat Party Recover?

How much damage is being done by the infighting between Obama and Hillary? At a time when the party should be celebrating the unique opportunity they have right now, it's being overshadowed by dirty politics and finger pointing.

Now you have the DNC making things worse by backpedaling on Michigan and Florida. Who didn't see this situation with Florida and Michigan coming? How stupid is the DNC to think their decision to disenfrachise voters wasn't going to bite them in the ass?

At worst, the damage will not be that big a deal.

At the very worst, it means the Democratic nominee will enter the fall race in early September with absolutely no momentum against John McCain.

    Well that's a standard answer.

I get the whole "me Republican", "me Democrat" type mentaility, but lets try to do more with this question then just a macro-bash reply.

If this continues to the convention, I believe it will take years for the party to recover. I don't Hillary bowing out with dignity. She's going to take the party with her.

I don't, people are losing confidence in the leadership, rightly so. You're always going to have the die-hards, but I believe the damage has already been done with the black vote, If Obama doesn't get the nomination the "undecided" voters will vote McCain, and I also believe the Democrats risk losing the both the House and Senate if they sdon't showing some leadership and backbone.

I think the longer this goes on, the less likely they will win the White House.
