If for 20 years he sought guidance from a preacher whom had made racist statements from time to time, it only matters if the advice he recieved from the preacher had racist content to it. Obama is smart enough to know the difference, and even you could too Stryker.

I don't know why he didn't repudiate, or speak out, maybe it's kind of like how sometimes when my Pastor get's all mushy and tell's me how much God loves me.......I know, I know....but you're so terribly traumatized by these painfull and dibilitating racist remarks God damned cry babys. I bet you can't even work anymore you're so scarred.

Whats happening is the hindsight of a thousand Republicans is coming down on Obama's every move looking for signs of he being a hypocrit, or way better yet, a racist.....I think Republicans are embaressing themselves with soooo much adooo about nothing. Take it up with the Rev Wright Republicans and practice what you preach. You're the ones who keep belly aching about it anyway. Ask him to stop yourselves.

If he were running for president of the church we'd care less and never hear about him. He is running for President and he is running asking us to judge him on his experience or accomplishment, but on the basis of his claimed good judgement and character.

This is an issue he has to address and this speech didn't. We don't need a lecture from him. I certainly don't need a lecture from him on civil rights and racism. He has no standing to say anything until he can explain why he never said anything aginst this type of hate speech going on in his church by his self proclaimed mentor and spritual leader. What kind of judgement did he show standing by this man and using him has his personal councelor. What kind of leadership did he show in his church for never standing against such racist and anti-American hatred.

And hate for America which he sold on DVD's and video tapes so people could listen to those remarks over and over and over and over.

It matters that he choose a man who believed such things and never spoke out against it until for political reasons he had to and then he lied about it.

How about the new stuff about Rev. Meeks that is showing up now, another bigotted racist whom Obama is buddy buddy with.

How about the fact he had linked to the New Black Panther party on his website?

Obama has a lot of explaining to do, instead of speeches he should schedule a couple of hours for a major press conference and answer all questions.
