State Senator Kern S. Johnson has sponsored Bill 1214, which was approved by the Senate Judiciary Committee. It would allow individuals 21 and over with concealed weapons permits to carry their firearms at public colleges and universities. A fact sheet of the bill can be found at the site below.

Pfft. Don't you think its messed up in a society that it would come to us asking where we should and shouldn't pack heat?

What about the violent tendencies that are the actual cause?

Overall, it sounds good. Although, I agree it does not make sense why they would pick 21 as the age restriction, when many of the students would be under this age.

I live in an open carry state, I tried it a few times. Man I had more cops on me than flies on shit! Hell this is an non licensed open carry state and they harass me.

Then that makes more sense. I do not carry a CCW. Although, I have two rifles I keep locked up.
