Thread: Yep, its a recession!

Just getting the headlines from CBS Money Watch, again no clip, I got dial up. Indicators say were in a recession. 60% of Americans believe their standard of living will be going down and 85% of Americans believe it will get worse before it gets better. However, Robert Samuelson in last weeks Newsweek thinks that trying to fix a recession (higher inflation) may be worse than letting it run its course. :dunno:

I don't think we've had a month let alone a 2 quarters of negative growth. And it needs to run it's course just like the mortgage problem. Keep tax rates low, don't shove any new regulations on business and let the market correct itself.
