OBAMA HAS PLANS FOR OTHER PEOPLE'S MONEY.

A nice-sounding bill called the "Global Poverty Act," sponsored by Democratic presidential candidate and Senator Barack Obama, is up for a Senate vote on Thursday and could result in the imposition of a global tax on the United States. The bill, which has the support of many liberal religious groups, makes levels of U.S. foreign aid spending subservient to the dictates of the United Nations.

you know, i'm reading up on issues of sovereignity lately.
its made me feel really.....jaded....that i'm not in power.

Obama or the Red Queen, thats what its come to for the Dem's,
a pure socialist ticket?

Put the UN in control of our tax dallars...
God help us.

Wow. Insane.

They didn't think about a tax credit for people who give to a set of government approved charities?

Of course not, because that would mean the money would actually go to the poor.

As in debt as the United States is, countries may have to help us out.

Unfortunately, most people do not see this, blinded instead by party affiliation. They will finish voting us out of our Constitution in the near future.

However, the only thing the bill does is require the president to come up with a long term plan, rather than continue to throw money at the problem.

Global tax? Gooe luck gettin' that one by Congress....

Yes. Democrats like tradition. They're bound by it, in fact. That's why they've presented nothing but pure socialists as their party's nominee since McGovern.
