Thread: Berkeley hippie douchebags burn the flag.

While I totally support their right to burn the flag under the 1st Amendment, I still think these privileged little pricks are a bunch of douchebags. Fucking Berkeley tries to ban military recruiting, but that lasted about as long as it took the Fed to threaten to remove them from the government tit. It's funny when you realize who the real greedy no-principle assholes really are.

I really like when somebody conducts a flag burning. I think we need more of them to get the populace riled up. I don't see enough anger about what is going on this country right now especially how the current administration is basically getting away with murder.

P.S. Who was playing the star war music in the background of that video?

What exactly did they accomplish by burning the flag? That is other than making themselves look like adolescent fools. Will what they did change anything? Nope, not a thing.

I'll never understand why people get so riled up about a flag burning....

Please explain how it's ironic for me to agree people have the right to say what they want and to then exercise my right to simply disagree?

You mention their principles, but when it came down to it they took the money. How principled is that? I have personally turned down piles of money on principle before. I would have been far more impressed if they told the Fed to take their money and cram it, but in the end I guess the money is more important than the kid's lives they claim to care about so much. The only irony (more like hypocrisy) lies with them.

Burn all the flags you want. Irony would be banning flag buring by law. But if you are going to do at least have the balls to follow through were it really hurts, your pocketbooks. Otherwise you are just a bunch of spoiled little douchebags and just the fact that you are enrolled in a 4 year American university means you are already better off than 99.9% of the entire world, so yes, they are privileged spoiled little pricks.
